Multi fold card using Stampin Up's Thinlits Card Dies...

Hello again..
Well am I doing good or what!! I have now moved on to my third post!! (wink)!

Today I have the first project I created for my clubs this year. Here I used the new Thinlits Card Dies, I love um!!
They come with so many fun dies to create lots of cute little titles, arrows etc. I used several different products and stamps to create this project, the paper is the new Retro Fresh DSP, other dies are the On Film set, the stamps used are the Peachy Keen, Hip Notes, Make Note Rotary Stamp, and Big Wish. To finish it off I created a wrap using the new Scalloped Tag Punch and tied it off with some Twine because this baby was a fat one!!
I really love the colors in the retro fresh paper pack its all so refreshing.
I also used the new Banner Punch that's available for free as a sale-a-bration item until Mar. 31st.
This card was intended for a Valentines Day card but it would make a great friend, or birthday card too!

Here's a shot of one of my Club Girlie's.. "Lucia" with her finished card!
Isn't it cool I really love how creative you can get with these Thinlits dies I just added a middle fold to two cards at both ends and Ta Da..., instant multi fold card!!

I hope you like it I really loved the finished project... it's really cute! OK Chica's that's it for now until my next post .. Have a great night... tu amiga Kat..

Hi it's me Kat!
I know it's been a long time since I've posted anything on my blog and I have been really wanting to get back into the blogging world, so with that being said here is my first post for 2014!!

Last year was a  challenging year for me, I kinda lost my creative mojo and dropped out of the crafting scene.. which is really hard for even me to believe! Because crafting is my life ... There will always be some kind of crafting involved in my life at my casita, as it's what I breath and crave... Paper crafting is one of my favorite things to do.. I also love to sew and am wanting to get more involved in that this year too.
So last year I had thought I was going to quit my Stampin Up gig.. but It just made me sad I really do love the product and I love that I can do it at my own pace.. I have been a demonstrator since Nov, 2010 and I really do enjoy doing it. I will admit that having a full-time job as well can be quite a challenge but what keeps me going is the awesome group of friends that I have who have joined my clubs and have kept me involved in this business... I wanna thank all of them I am so grateful as I have my creative mojo back!! I currently have two clubs going and would love to have even a few more in the future! So if anyone would be interested in joining a fun crafting club I would love to coach it.., as I love being a CREATIVE COACH (wink)!
I have had so much fun crafting with all my new Stampin Up products.. I really love all the new bundles in the Occasions Catty, the Peachy Keen and On Film bundle is one of my fav's I love the little camera die it's just so cute! Check it out it's a must have!!

OK enough of all that, here is my cards for the day I used the new Fancy Foil vellum in gold for this first card! In the photo it really doesn't show the beauty of the metallic gold polka dots but I assure you that it is so pretty! I also used the banner punch that you can get for free with a 50.00 purchase until march 31st during the Sale-a-Bration promo! The background stamp is also SU but I don't remember the name of this stamp sorry! Only the items I mentioned are SU items!

This next card is something that I have made for someones special Mom who means that world to them. How cute is that globe stamp (sigh)! It was an exclusive Valentines stamp that I just had to have and what a great way to use it as a Mother's Day card too! Also used the very large background map stamp and heat embossed it using SU's embossing powder in gold and cut out those cute hearts using the heart dies and the triple heart punch.
Are you ready for your Mother's day? It will soon be here, I mean look at how fast this year is already going...., MARCH IS HERE!! yikes that was fast!

"CrAft for LiFe"

CAN I JUST SAY that it really feels good to make this post today, I will try to be more consistent with future post!!  Thanks for those of you who have stopped by to check out my art!

Here is the last club project we did it's a really cute canvas heart album for VALENTINES DAY that I picked up at M's for really cheap along with the cute metal ebellis on the front! I just love when I find a great deal..The cute teal frame is also from M's and I created a really cute pin cushion with it using the More Amore Fabric(wink)!

I used the new SU More Amore suite.. I just LoVE it, the colors are so soft and pretty and all that goes with it is just beautiful..We did alot of heat embossing this club because SU came out with a new powder called pool party and naturally I HAD to use it! LOVE it too..

Please browse the rest of the pages as they all turned out so cute! NOTE: All the pics were taken with my phone and please excuse my mess as I was taking them as I finished them, so needless to say all my crafting mess made it in the photos too!!

Club cards with a shabby chic feel...

We had another successful club day and a wonderful lunch that Rebeca hosted for us! Every month the hostess of that month has to provide a lunch and beverage , and let me tell you it was D'Lish! Thank you Rebeca for the awesome ceviche and yummy drinkies!! So the first card we did is this lovely Mother's day card, we used the SU "Beau Chateau" DSP and the new edgelits dies and EF to match, the little envelope was made with the petal card double punch , isn't it just so cute!! Perfect to tuck a secret little something for Mom.

Take a look at the inside of this card isn't so pretty! I really love how this came out.(wink)!!
This next one is a cute welcome baby card that I just love. It's so soft and pretty just as new babies are!! All cards were done with the same DSP as a group of four, today I only have three of the four as I didn't take a photo yet of the other !! I will try to add later!

And for the last one we did a free card where everyone could do their own twist on the card using the "Beau Chateau" side notes, I used two of the smaller ones in the pack, the one that says Family and the postage stamp with the French Rooster on it!
Here is a close up of the cute "side notes"!! I hope you enjoyed your visit and the cards!! Thanks for stopping by.. tu amiga Kat..

My Daughters 28th "Tea Party" B-day ....

Hello chica's it's been a while I know, I have just dropped out of the blogging world, and I am sorry (wink ^.~ ) but today I have a quick post to share with you all.. Yesterday we celebrated my daughters b-day with a fabulous Tea Party it was such a great time and the ladies dressed so pretty it was great seeing everyone so lovely in their "Tea Time Attire" I have added a picture of myself on the left and my daughter on the right and her really good friend behind us! It was a bit of a scare early in the morning prepping for the event as the weather was not so great but fortunately the weather improved throughout the morning. Thankfully we were able to enjoy the garden !! To encourage the ladies to dress up I stated that there would be a " Best Dressed Prize" to be won.. and here I have posted what I created for one lucky winner. I used some pretty shabby chic paper from SU and a wire dress form that I got at M's and with a some tulle and a hot glue gun I went at it and created this cute dress with purse and all!! I created the purse simply by cutting out some felt with a teapot shaped die and gluing the two pieces together and adding some fiber fill to puff out the purse a little, added some cute flowers made with some punched out flowers and there you have it a Tea Queen to display in your home!! I hope you ladies like it I was really pleased with how it turned out.

Thank you for your time, and have a lovely Sunday afternoon, until next time chica's ...

My Christmas Casita..

Happy Holidays to all my blog friends, so sorry I have been absent for such a long time but I will try my best to get back into the groove of posting some of my work! Its just been a crazy year and now that it's close to the end I can only hope that the coming year is a better one!

So enough of that.... today I have a little decoupage house that I decorated all up in some fun vintage theme papers along with fun glass glitters, trims, beads, and a few goodies here and there.. I hope you like it, I just love the way it came out! I have been eyeing these lil houses for a while and finally made myself get to work on one !! Thank you Paper tales for carrying these cute casitas !! So here is the result.. Here is a close up of the banner that hangs in front, it's draped with some bakers twine . I made some cute little rosettes for the eaves of the house and trimmed them with some glass glitter. This is just a view of the cute lil bottle brush tree that I bleached from a dark green to this lovely cream shade to fit just perfect with my color scheme. This lil reef I also bleached from a dark green to fit right in with my casita!! I just love how they turned out . Below is one of the sides isn't it just so cute... I cut out the Santa and his Reindeer and decoupaged them onto the base paper. It's so cute I just love this vintage Santa!! I added lots of clear buttons to the roof and glittered it all up with some clear sparkle glitter and some mica to look like snow! Here is a close up of the back side of the house.. This is the other side of the house.Again I used some vintage images, check out the cute snowman couple! Just adorable! Well Chica's that's it for my little Christmas casita I hope you enjoyed what you have seen thanks for stopping by and I hope to post again soon

Merry Christmas to all with love always ...
